THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

This position supports daily office administration, customer service, inventory control, and warehouse activities within a specialized business environment. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, consultants, customers, and outside vendors.

• Manage incoming phone calls, email correspondence, and general inquiries while directing communications to the appropriate team members. Maintain office records, filing systems, databases, and routine documentation.
• Assist with office supply purchasing, meeting preparation, and on-site management support. Coordinate consultant biosecurity products and help maintain an organized, efficient office environment.
• Record purchasing and sales activity in company systems, maintain accurate inventory-related information, and develop proficiency with Standard Nutrition's operating software and procedures.
• Work with the printing vendor to prepare, proofread, and finalize the monthly newsletter. Coordinate with staff to collect articles and ensure content is submitted according to established deadlines.
• Follow established procedures for testing feed samples, documenting results, and distributing information to consultants and customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts at the Sioux Falls location, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile records to maintain accurate inventory information.
• Coordinate courtesy vehicle scheduling and other hospitality services for customers visiting Sioux Falls. Serve as a professional and welcoming point of contact for clients and visitors at the facility.
• Assist with receiving feed and other deliveries, including unloading pallets using a forklift. Forklift experience is not required, as training will be provided.
