Job Title Industrial Sports Medicine Professional Employment Details Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Location: Monrovia, MD; Frederick, MD (two locations) Hours: Average of 33-35 hours per week, on-site Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm Pay: $33‑$41 per hour, hourly rate negotiable based on credentials and experience Bonuses: Hiring bonus $500; 1‑year retention bonus $1,000 Position Overview The Industrial Sports Medicine Professional provides on-site care to client employees, applying expertise in job function and task analysis, ergonomic solutions, and injury prevention. The role involves building relationships, delivering early discomfort management programs, and collaborating with stakeholders while maintaining compliance with OSHA First Aid standards. Job Duties Provide on-site services at Monrovia and Frederick locations. Create and maintain positive relationships with client contacts and employees. Initiate professional and engaging relationships with client employees. Deliver education and training focused on injury and illness prevention. Provide on-site care and management of work- and non-work-related discomforts. Maintain knowledge of OSHA Health and Safety practices and adhere to OSHA First Aid standards. Implement the Early Discomfort Management (EDM) program. When required, conduct functional employment testing, return-to-work services, ergonomic assessments, or clinical solutions. Complete detailed and timely reports for each service. Document services accurately in the company’s web-based system. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards at each site. Follow all Briotix Health policies, practices, and government regulations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field. Appropriate certifications and/or state license in good standing in each state served. Current CPR certification (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer, BLS Healthcare Provider, or equivalent). Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care. Minimum 1 year of customer-service experience. Ergonomic certification or training preferred. 1–2 years of experience in industrial or office ergonomics, industrial sports medicine, functional employment testing, or job-task analysis preferred. Must meet physical demands of on-site work (lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb; frequent standing, walking, sitting, or squatting). Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
