Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform diverse ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each step with warmth and transparency
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging systems, promptly addressing any equipment malfunctions
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain electronic patient records for accuracy and compliance
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent strongly preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
