Job Title Program Manager L2 Location Atlanta, Georgia Employment Type Regular, Full-Time Job ID 299259 Job Summary The Program Manager works with many levels of leadership and staff to manage program efforts based on industry best practices; works as the single point of contact for facilitation and communication of program goals, deliverables, and schedules, and must be an excellent communicator; various levels of documentation will be produced at each stage of the program and the program manager is often the person who creates these with input from others. Responsibilities Establish goals, objectives, and evaluation criteria for programs; evaluate program effectiveness on an ongoing basis. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of programs, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities; assist with developing and formalizing program scope; assign resources and set deadlines. Recommend, update, and support programmatic policies and procedures. Develop and maintain effective relationships with program sponsors, stakeholders, teams, and others to assess needs and existing program methodology. Research and identify funding and resources to support programs; track timelines and budgets, report status, and resolve or escalates issues as necessary. May assist with developing and distributing publications, resources, and program or marketing materials. Participate in strategic and operational planning for programs. Perform other job-related duties assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements: High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma. Required Experience: Up to two years of job-related experience. Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in Higher Education, Office Scholarship, and Financial Aid. Preferred Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills: Student Financial Aid management experience, BANNER Financial Aid Module Knowledge, ability to work independently and as a team member, ability to interact with donors, faculty, staff, students, alumni and other key stakeholders effectively and diplomatically, advanced ability to build and effectively utilize relationships with faculty, staff, and students to enable project completion, excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills, effective time and resource management. Other Information This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Card). This position will not travel. This position does not require security clearance.
