An inpatient GI locum opportunity offering 24-hour call coverage at a Level 1 Trauma setting. Ongoing monthly needs with strong support services and required EPIC training completed prior to start.

24-hour call shifts (7a7a)

57 shifts per month, ongoing into 2025

Level 1 Trauma environment

Inpatient consult service (GI does not admit)

Average: 810 consults/follow-ups + 58 scopes/day

Support: 24/7 intensivists, hospitalists, trauma team

Required procedures: Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleeds & general GI evaluations

EMR: EPIC

Reason for coverage: Gaps in coverage + planned locum breaks (JunAug 2025)

All shifts: 7a7a (24-hour call)

Immediate need: Dec 7

JanMar dates released after Dec 7 is filled

Ongoing monthly schedule into 2025

Timeline: 6090 days; Emergency privs: 12 weeks (clean file)

Requires NPDB self-inquiry + active CO license or IMLC

Must submit preapp + full app immediately for urgent dates

Additional facility credentialing involved

Clean malpractice/background required

Board Certified Gastroenterology REQUIRED

Active CO License or IMLC (LOQ at submission) REQUIRED

Active DEA REQUIRED (transferred DEA acceptable; must keep throughout assignment)

Must perform ERCP REQUIRED

Must be available for December dates REQUIRED

Must acknowledge preferred lodging rules REQUIRED

Must acknowledge EMR training steps REQUIRED

Gastroenterology Fellowship REQUIRED

Local/drive-in HIGHLY PREFERRED

Clean background/malpractice; NPDB self-inquiry preferred at submission
