Job Title – Senior Project Manager (Medical Devices) Location: North Andover, MA Fulltime permanent role with Capgemini Engineering About the job you’re considering: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with experience leading medical device product development projects, managing both hardware and software components of electromechanical products throughout the full product lifecycle. The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medical device product development projects. The Project Manager will oversee projects throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring adherence to product development processes, design controls, quality standards, and organizational objectives. Your Role: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and deliverables. Lead cross‑functional teams to drive project execution and achieve key milestones. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Support product development activities from concept through commercialization. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives and expectations. Communicate project status, risks, issues, milestones, and action plans to leadership teams and governance boards. Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across functional teams. Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Monitor resource utilization and work with functional management to secure necessary project resources. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Drive issue resolution and escalation processes when required. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and planning materials. Ensure compliance with medical device product development processes, design controls, and applicable regulatory standards. Your skills and experience Bachelor's Degree Proven experience managing complex product development projects within a cross‑functional environment. Experience in the medical device industry or regulated product development environments. Hands‑on experience managing both hardware and software development projects , preferably involving electromechanical products. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI, IPMA, or equivalent Project Management certification. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies. The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000/year Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
