What You'll Do

• Manage multiple construction, remodel, and special projects simultaneously while meeting key milestones and deadlines.
• Review and interpret architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, landlords, and regulatory agencies throughout all phases of a project.
• Track, review, and manage project change orders while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce recurring issues.
• Develop scopes of work (SOW), fixture layouts, and engineering concepts to support successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to internal teams and project stakeholders.
• Communicate project updates, changes, and expectations to both internal and external partners.
• Support value engineering initiatives to reduce construction costs while maintaining quality, consistency, and project standards.
• Assist with training and mentoring AutoCAD specialists and team members.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools.
• Stay current on industry codes, standards, software, and best practices to support project success.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing multiple construction, engineering, design, or renovation projects at the same time.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Retail or commercial construction experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $44.23/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
