Laboratory Specimen Processor

Labcorp seeks a Laboratory Specimen Processor for its Dublin, Ohio facility to receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing. The role involves equipment maintenance, data entry, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced laboratory environment with a Sunday–Thursday night shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for analysis and testing
• Perform specimen and patient data scanning and entry
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Ensure clean and safe work environment and replenish supplies
• Complete administrative record logs and follow standard operating procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate specimen identification
• Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and multitasking ability
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• 3+ months specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience (preferred)

Compensation: $17.75–$20.00 per hour plus shift differential
