Location: Burlington, VT
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant / Licensed Nursing Assistant (CNA/LNA)
Setting: Long-Term Care / Rehabilitation
Shift: Days
Shift Length: 8 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Charting System: PointClickCare (PCC)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CNA/LNAs to provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have strong LTC experience, previous travel experience, and the ability to work flexible 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance to residents.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with transfers, mobility, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Take and document vital signs as required.
• Provide care to residents with long-term care, rehabilitation, and dementia-related needs.
• Accurately document resident care using PointClickCare (PCC).
• Follow resident care plans, safety procedures, and infection-control guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Current CNA/LNA certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of long-term care (LTC) experience.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable travel experience.
• Previous PointClickCare (PCC) experience required.
• At least one professional reference from one of the candidate's two most recent facilities.
• Must have a clean background check. No background-check hits accepted.
• Must be comfortable working 8-hour shifts.
• 12-hour shifts are not available.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-care skills required.
