Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Psych Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: RN Psych Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days - 12 HR Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 AM - 7 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Behavioral Health/Psych License: Current RN license Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Must be open to all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Must work every other weekend. Description: This position involves working with a diverse patient population across various age groups. You will be part of a team in an acute inpatient hospital environment. The focus will be on treating behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders. This role includes delivering personalized care and programming tailored to the needs of the patients. Inpatient programs provide acute, short-term care to promote stabilization for patients. Your efforts will help patients step down to a lower level of care when appropriate. Long-term treatment and educational support are also part of the services provided. Working in this environment will empower young people and adults to make sustained progress in their treatment.
