Human Resources Business Partner [Remote]

This role offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and leaders across a dynamic, remote-first organization. You will translate business priorities and workforce needs into practical people strategies while providing hands-on support across the employee lifecycle. Working with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and other business functions, you will help leaders navigate performance, talent, employee relations, organizational change, and workforce planning. You will use people data and business context to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and recommend meaningful action. The role combines autonomy with close partnership across HR, Legal, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and other People teams. It is well suited to an experienced HR professional who is comfortable with ambiguity, constructive challenge, and building trusted relationships at all levels.

Accountabilities:

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will independently manage day-to-day HR partnership for assigned client groups while providing thoughtful guidance, identifying people trends, and escalating complex matters when appropriate.

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees, providing practical guidance and solutions across a defined client group.
• Develop a strong understanding of business priorities, workforce needs, organizational context, and culture to anticipate challenges and identify opportunities.
• Coach managers through performance management, feedback, goal setting, corrective action, Performance Improvement Plans, talent development, and succession planning.
• Analyze employee relations trends, exit feedback, engagement signals, workforce data, and other people metrics to identify opportunities and develop recommendations.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of People programs, policies, processes, and manager resources.
• Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility objectives through consistent and equitable People practices.
• Manage routine to moderately complex employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, risk assessment, and resolution recommendations.
• Advise on employee lifecycle activities such as promotions, transfers, reorganizations, leaves, accommodations, job changes, and terminations.
• Support organizational change initiatives by assessing people impacts, identifying risks, and helping execute communication and transition plans.
• Partner with leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, organizational design, and people-related business decisions.
• Support recurring talent and people processes, including performance reviews, talent reviews, compensation planning, and promotions.
• Coordinate staffing, headcount, and compensation matters with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Finance, People Analytics, and other teams.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings progressive HR experience, strong business judgment, and the confidence to advise and challenge leaders while handling sensitive employee matters with discretion.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or in a comparable role.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively in ambiguous and changing environments.
• Confidence to constructively challenge senior leaders and maintain a firm position on important people and organizational decisions.
• Experience independently advising managers on employee relations, performance management, employee lifecycle processes, and employee relations investigations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance requirements, including applying policies across multiple states.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect organizational goals, workforce needs, and business performance to people decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with managers, leaders, and employees at all organizational levels.
• Strong discretion and judgment when handling confidential employee and business information.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and standard business tools; experience with Workday, Culture Amp, or Ashby ATS is preferred.
• Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, Product, revenue-generating, or product-focused teams is a plus.
• Experience in a remote-first or geographically distributed organization is preferred.
• HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent is a plus.
• A master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
