Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Wire Saw and Sand Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a large sander and CNC wire saw to cut and produce a variety of media sectors based on our production schedule.
• Verify that all media is within spec based on blueprints and perform quality check before moving material to the next process.
• Maintain area, equipment and tools in neat, orderly condition.
• Report any problems, difficulties, or unusual circumstances immediately to the supervisor.
• Observe all company policies, rules and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.
• Perform safety inspection on cranes at start of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand prints.
• Ability to use calipers and other measuring devices.
• Some Computer Skills required.
• Strong Communications/Interpersonal Skills.
• Self-Motivated and Driven.
• Detail Oriented.
• Following verbal and written work instructions.
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas within the wheel plant.
