Specify part holding techniques, speeds, feeds and tooling.Operate and set-up machines within the department.Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.Assist with training of new team members and operators.Participate in new job reviews and design for manufacturing sessions. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvements.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Adhere to company safety requirements.Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 3-5 years related experienceJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Highly proficient with one or more of the following CNC machines: EDM RAM, EDM Wire, Lathe, Mill, Mill-Turn, Swiss.3D CAD SkillsAble to program one or more CNC machine platforms.Experienced in use of caliper, micrometer, OC and height gage for dimensional inspection.Strong shop math skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.Physical Demands:Light to moderate physical exertion requiredLifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility#ARCH123Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
