Start Date: 03/01/2026

End Date: Varies (multiple open dates)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am 4:30 pm; 24-hour weekend call (no weekday night call)

Hours/Week: Full-time

Employment Type: Locum

License/Certs: Medical license and ERCP certification required

Experience: Prior GI experience required; ERCP experience is mandatory

Pay & Benefits

Pay package discussed upon application with an hourly rate (per hour worked 7a-5p)

Weekly pay via direct deposit

What You'll Do

Provide outpatient and inpatient GI consultations and procedures in a hospital setting

Conduct endoscopies, including ERCP procedures

Manage inpatient and outpatient scopes, averaging 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient procedures daily

Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians, 2 APPs, and onsite support staff

Support emergent and scheduled GI consults throughout your shift

Document procedures accurately in Cerner EMR system

Participate in weekend call coverage (24 hours) with some free hours provided

What You Need

Required:

Medical license in Michigan

ERCP certification

Experience with outpatient and inpatient GI procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Prior locum or hospital-based GI experience

Ability to handle high-volume outpatient/endoscopy work
