What To Expect As a Maintenance Technician on the Reliability Engineering team, you will bridge the gap between cross‑functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and vendors to maintain and improve equipment reliability. You will support design and development efforts by drafting in SolidWorks, conducting equipment trials per Tesla PCA standard procedures, fabricating and testing prototype parts, and meticulously tracking trial data. This role requires a strong blend of technical ability, mechanical knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure projects meet specifications, timelines, and Tesla standards while minimizing downtime. You will work directly with Reliability Engineers to execute reliability‑centered activities including root cause analysis, data‑driven improvements, PM development, documentation, and training.
