Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0700-1930 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: RN State License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Stroke Certification Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccination Flu vaccination Tdap vaccination Varicella vaccination MMR vaccination Hepatitis B vaccination Drug Screen Annual TB Questionnaire Description: The RN will perform nursing duties in the Cath Lab. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs and developing care plans. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care. The RN will monitor patients during procedures and respond to emergencies as necessary. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and their families. Maintaining a safe and sterile environment is a critical part of the job. The RN must be proficient in managing cardiac arrhythmias and understand sedation methods. Participation in ongoing education and skill validation is required. The RN will adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Commitment to patient safety and quality care is paramount.
