The Charitable Trusts Section investigates and brings legal and administrative actions to enforce the registration and reporting requirements, recovers charitable assets on behalf of the People of the State of California, addresses violations of corporate governance, and protects the public from fraudulent or abusive fundraising practices. Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate: Applicants should demonstratestrong analytical and paralegal skills. Familiarity with legal concepts and civil and probateprocedureis highly desirable. Experience with electronic discovery software, Relativity, CaseMap, Trial Director, Power Point, Word and Excel is highly desirable, as are relevant linguistic skills and experience in investigations and complex litigation. The applicant should possess the ability to work independently or in a team setting, take initiative, assume high - level responsibility, and exercise good judgment.
