Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.Work you'll do As a Software Engineer II on the GPS Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for delivering Appian-based business process solutions that support mission objectives. Support configuration, development, and defect resolution for an Appian replatforming effort replacing legacy capabilities. Assist with building Appian components, refining user stories, completing unit testing, troubleshooting issues, and supporting releases and sprint delivery. Collaborate with leads, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into build tasks and ensure the application continues to evolve in line with business priorities. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degreeMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureActive Public Trust security clearance3+ years of experience of enterprise application testing/quality assurance3+ years of experience of functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing3+ years of experience of defect tracking, triage, and retestingAbility to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Preferred: Appian platform familiarity1+ year of Appian testing experienceExperience testing enterprise workflow or low-code applicationsFamiliarity with test tools such as Jira, Xray, qTest, or Azure DevOpsExperience with GPS or federal application environmentsISTQB or similar certification preferred For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500 to $170,900. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
