Personal Lines Account Manager

Personal Lines Account Manager — Seattle, WA or Lynden, WA Brown & Brown Insurance Built on meritocracy, our culture rewards self-starters who do what's best for our customers. We're growing our Seattle Personal Lines team and looking for an Account Manager to service and grow a private client book alongside a tenured, collaborative group. About the role You'll manage a Personal Lines book that runs predominantly mid-market with high-net-worth accounts mixed in, partnering closely with clients, carriers, and underwriters. The team is actively building in the high-net-worth space, so this is a seat with real room to deepen your private client expertise. What you'll do Develop proactive relationships with customers and underwriters Analyze loss exposures and determine coverage needs Prepare proposals and present recommendations to clients Grow revenue through account rounding, cross-selling, and new business Work non-admitted / surplus lines placements and workflows Maintain up-to-date licensing, product knowledge, and compliance What makes a strong candidate 3+ years Personal Lines experience (high-net-worth / private client experience is a strong plus and aligns with where the team is growing) Comfort with surplus lines / non-admitted placement Established relationships with private client carriers (Chubb, Pure, AIG) a plus Strong service instincts and the ability to interpret complex coverage accurately Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Washington and relevant non-resident P&C licenses CAPI, CPRM, or CPRIA designation, or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe (preferred) Schedule Hybrid — in office Wednesday and Thursday, remote the rest of the week.
