Product Manager - Technical, Customer Experience and Business Trends

Amazon is seeking a Product Manager – Technical to join our Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) team, a team that uses technology and innovative methods to assess and improve Amazon’s customer experience. This person should be customer-obsessed, data-oriented, technologically hands-on, and excited to innovate.You will be a core member of our product and engineering teams, driving the success of our products, tools, and capabilities to enable our organization to deliver insights and analysis at pace. We work across multiple Amazon Stores categories (e.g., consumer electronics, apparel) and tech teams (e.g., search, personalization), partnering with senior business leaders in strategically developing and improving the shopping experience on Amazon.As our agentic-powered product suite has rapidly grown in recent months, with ever-increasing demand from users, we are looking for a PM-T who will focus on building and enhancing features of internal products and tools that drive insights and analysis across Amazon, enabling teams globally to improve end-to-end customer experiences.The immediate objective is to own the vision, design and implementation for our next feature release, which will be a step change in how we evaluate Personalized shopping and streaming experiences worldwide. You will work with users, engineering, and leadership to drive alignment on requirements to ensure the product meets the high bar and provides a delightful experience.A successful PM-T will be able to deeply understand the user needs, and experiences for features of our products, dive deep into the technical design, identify trade-offs (both back end and front end), surface edge cases, drive decision making, influence, and drive long-term product roadmap and success. The role will also suit someone who enjoys collaborating across our wider suite of products and capabilities to drive impact on high priority business needs.You should be passionate about improving Amazon’s end-to-end processes and technology, and building partnerships across business and development teams to drive changes. You have the proven ability to dive deep into complex systems and metrics and understand the business context behind the data and technology, continuously striving to find deeper insights. You will be responsible for using innovative technology and seek out best practices.This role will allow you to make a real impact on our business from Day 1, and provide a dynamic, innovative and fast-paced environment to constantly build your skill set and address new challenges.Key job responsibilities- Own the experience and product design for new feature launch and rollout in our product suite.- Deeply understand user needs and effectively translate into structured product and technical requirements, regularly driving conversations with users and diving deep on their feedback to identify and prioritize high-impact improvements.- Play a critical role in influencing the vision and product roadmap for the future, write effective PRFAQs and technical requirements, stay at the forefront of technology advancements and push the tech frontier.- Understand complex business problems across business units, geographies and product lines.- Manage ambiguity and translate this into tech requirements.- Effectively partner with users in our team to solve their problems.- Build strong relations with internal stakeholders to understand priorities, provide inputs to our roadmap and to collaborate and work with them on studies and actions to implement product and service solutions.- Support hiring and onboarding of new team members and contribute to our high performing culture.- Work cross functionally with peers/colleagues globally to support best practices, and shared opportunities.About the teamCustomer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) is an organization made up of a diverse suite of functions dedicated to deeply understanding and improving customer experience, globally. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
