Restaurant General Manager

Location: Beverly Hills
Salary range: $110-130k DOE + bonus eligibility

We are seeking an accomplished Restaurant General Manager to lead a sophisticated, high-volume three-meal restaurant within a luxury five-star hotel in Beverly Hills. This is a significant leadership opportunity for a hospitality professional who combines strong business acumen, elevated service standards, beverage expertise, and an empathetic, people-first leadership style.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a complex, high-caliber restaurant operation—whether within a luxury hotel or a highly regarded standalone restaurant—and will take full ownership of the restaurant's financial performance, guest experience, team culture, and overall operational excellence .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full leadership and strategic direction for a high-volume breakfast, lunch, and dinner operation.
• Take complete ownership of the restaurant's P&L, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost controls, and revenue performance .
• Drive an elevated yet approachable service culture consistent with five-star luxury standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing front-of-house leadership and service team.
• Lead with empathy, accountability, visibility, and consistency while creating an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
• Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to ensure a cohesive food and beverage experience.
• Bring a strong understanding of wine, spirits, cocktails, and overall beverage programming , with the ability to contribute to menu development, profitability, training, and guest engagement.
• Analyze business trends, guest feedback, financial results, and KPIs to identify opportunities for continued improvement.
• Maintain a highly visible presence on the floor and build meaningful relationships with guests, VIPs, and regular clientele.
• Collaborate effectively with hotel leadership and other departments to support the broader guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with all operational, safety, sanitation, and labor standards.

Ideal Background

The successful candidate will bring significant leadership experience in luxury or upscale dining , ideally within a five-star hotel, luxury resort, or high-caliber standalone restaurant. Prior experience with a high-volume, three-meal restaurant is strongly preferred, along with demonstrated responsibility for a full restaurant P&L.

A strong candidate will also possess:

• Proven success managing and developing large, diverse teams.
• Managed a team over 40+ individuals in the past.
• 2+ years department head experience
• Union experience is a big plus
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with previous full P&L ownership .
• Solid knowledge of beverage operations and programming.
• A polished understanding of luxury service and sophisticated guest expectations.
• A hands-on, highly visible leadership style.
• Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
• The ability to balance high standards with an empathetic and supportive approach to leadership .
