Housekeeper PositionCentral Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a team approach that treats patients with dignity and respect, while delivering high-quality care.The Housekeeper is responsible for providing a clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and enjoyable surroundings for patients, visitors and employees. The Housekeeper promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infections and odors. The Housekeeper may be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination. The Housekeeper must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials or body fluids in accordance with OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards.
