Technical Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager for a 6 month contract in PST time zone.

Job Function Summary:

Involves developing digital communications when communications knowledge, rather than Information Technology knowledge, is paramount. Includes website design and development, or producing communications or instruction using the web, audio, video, and other digital media, which may involve content creation, designing, production and / or programming.

Custom Scope (customizable, will be used in the job posting/advertisement):

The Digital Project Manager operates at the highest level to provide management and other professionals with technical expertise and expert knowledge of all facets of digital communications, including web site appeal, navigability, ease of use, functionality and appropriate and effective delivery of the desired message. Provides comprehensive oversight for website(s) with organization-wide impact and sensitivity. Mentors less experienced staff. Serving as a key member of the digital marketing team, the Senior Digital Project Manager will have the opportunity to help lead the strategy and implementation of an innovative digital overhaul of the consumer-health facing experience for Children’s Hospitals. Candidate must share in our mission to improve our patient’s overall digital experience and engagement with Children’s Hospitals. Project will also focus on making it easier for referring physicians to interact with Children’s Hospitals, and provide user-friendly, valuable online tools and services.

The successful candidate:

• A proven track record of leading and managing complicated technical product releases for a consumer audience or in the healthcare space.
• Have developed and managed large-scale programs and multi-track projects that cross many departments of a business.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization and with external vendors and partners.
• Well-versed in Scrum or other agile- development best practices of product development.
• Detail orientated and obsessed with Gantt charts, tracking risks, user stories and every aspect and detail of a project.
• Efficiently manages multiple vendors and delivers on schedule and within budget.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to define, build, and deliver web, mobile and other digital products through partnership and collaboration.
• Experience producing project briefs, roadmaps, product backlogs and user stories.
• A confident presenter who can lead demos and project updates across all levels of an organization.

MUST HAVE:

• experience working with a large hospital
• experience working on large website redesign or APP release for a healthcare company
• Certified Scrum Master
• Strong JIRA experience
