Specialty Account Manager, Long Term Care (Jackson, MS)

Axsome Therapeutics

A biopharmaceutical company seeks a field-based Specialty Account Manager for long-term care in Jackson, Mississippi to drive commercial activities and product adoption across assigned territories. The role focuses on building relationships with healthcare providers and staff within long-term care facilities to support successful product launches.

Responsibilities

Drive product adoption and market penetration in long-term care facilities
Build and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, and LTC staff
Engage with closed-door pharmacies, clinical pharmacists, case managers, and care coordinators
Execute marketing strategies to support product launch and commercial objectives
Assess local market landscape and identify future trends within long-term care

Requirements

Ability to engage effectively in both virtual and in-person customer interactions
Knowledge of long-term care landscape and key stakeholder identification
Disease state expertise and product knowledge
Account management and business development experience
Relationship-building and communication skills across healthcare teams
