Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU/Stepdown) setting within a full-service acute-care hospital
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor but below intensive care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members to ensure continuity and quality of care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMCU, Stepdown, or comparable acute-care setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Must meet all travel contract compliance requirements prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an IMCU or PCU environment
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a stepdown setting
• Experience working within a large, multi-service acute-care hospital system
