Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to maintain and repair our customers fleets of forklifts and other material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for ensuring equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or experience in mechanical repair preferred.
- Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
