Job Description
MRI Technologist Job Description The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans, ensuring high-quality images are produced while adhering to safety protocols. The role requires flexibility and the ability to float between multiple locations as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI imaging procedures with precision and professionalism.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the scanning process.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to obtain optimal images.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as necessary.
- Document patient information and procedures accurately.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI.
- Experience with Siemens and Phillips MRI scanners is required.
- Current ARRT certification in MRI and BLS certification.
- Recent supervisory or managerial references in the MRI field.
- Skills checklist that demonstrates compliance with MRI specialty requirements.
- The facility requires all staff to be vaccinated against the flu; no exemptions will be accepted.
- This is a nicotine-free facility; candidates must pass nicotine testing in addition to standard drug screening.
