Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift - 18 hours per week - Part time - 3C Medical Stepdown

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 18 hours per week on the Night Shift (7p-7a) at our Christiana Hospital on this Unit. Weekend and Holidays - per the guidelines of the department. Unit 3C Medical Unit Stepdown, which recently received the AACN Beacon Award for Excellence: Silver 2022-2025. Responsibilities Deliver holistic patient care that is patient- and family-centered to ensure patient comfort and positive outcomes by providing education related to medications and disease processes. Closely monitor patients and manage emergencies as they arise. Assist in managing a 4-5 patient assignment. Work with 3C Medical Stepdown staff and leadership to provide safe, quality care. Care for a range of diagnoses including Respiratory Failure, COPD, Acute Renal Failure, GI Bleed, DKA, Sepsis, and other conditions. Practice telemetry monitoring, non-ventilator dependent trach collar and High Flow Nasal Cannula management, wound care, and related skills. You will see a range of diagnoses including Respiratory Failure, COPD, Acute Renal Failure, GI Bleed, DKA, Sepsis, and many others. 3C nurses are highly skilled in caring for acutely ill and complex patients, who are proficient in telemetry monitoring, non-ventilator dependent trach collar and High Flow Nasal Cannula management, wound care and more. Qualifications & Requirements BSN required. ADN candidates who commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire can be considered with relevant experience. Qualified applicants will have at least one year of experience. Acute care or sub-acute care experience preferred. BLS required. Schedule & Pay 18 hours per week, typical shift 7p-7a; holidays and weekends per department guidelines. Hourly pay range: $41.28 - $66.05. This pay range is ChristianaCare's good-faith estimate; actual salary is based on factors including skills, experience, and qualifications.
