Medical Laboratory Scientist: Precision Diagnostics

**TITLE:** Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) **POSITION OVERVIEW:** The **Medical Laboratory Scientist** at St. Charles Health System performs, interprets and reports clinical laboratory testing on a variety of human biological specimen types. This position does not directly manage other caregivers, however may be asked to review and provide feedback on the work of other caregivers.**EDUCATION:** Occasionally (25%): Bending, stooping/kneeling/crouching, climbing ladder/step-stool (varies by area), reaching overhead, lifting/carrying/pushing or pulling 25-50 pounds, grasping/squeezing, ability to hear whispered speech level.**TITLE:** Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) **POSITION OVERVIEW:** The **Medical Laboratory Technician** at St. Charles Health System performs, interprets and reports clinical laboratory testing on a variety of human biological specimen types.
