An exciting opportunity exists for a college graduate to join our engineering test teams at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter -wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.

\n

What You Will Do:

\n

\n
• \n

  Perform RF/microwave/millimeter -wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits)

\n
• \n

  Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements

\n
• \n

  Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter -wave test systems

\n
• \n

  Use software to control test equipment and plot test results

\n

\n

What You Will Learn:

\n

\n
• \n

  RF/Microwave measurement techniques including wafer probing, fixtured devices, pulsed measurements

\n
• \n

  Use of test equipment such as Performance Network Analyzers (PNAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Noise Figure Analyzers, Load-Pull systems etc

\n
• \n

  Use of software tools such as Labview, Python and Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) to control test equipment and manipulate test date

\n
• \n

  Measurement trouble-shooting techniques

\n

\n

\n

Qualifications You Must Have:

\n

\n
• \n

  Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.

\n
• \n

  Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Electromagnetics

\n

\n

\n

Qualifications We Prefer:

\n

\n
• \n

  Lab experience specific to RF/microwave device and circuit measurements

\n
• \n

  Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.

\n
• \n

  Experience with any of the following software: Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.\n

\n
