Test Solutions Engineering is one of the most dynamic, hands-on, and fast-paced environments within Raytheon.  As our programs ramp up under new Heads of Agreement (HOAs) to accelerate production, our factories are moving faster than ever — and Test is at the center of making that possible!  We design and deliver the test capabilities that ensure every product leaving our lines is ready for the mission.

This is an onsite position; work will be done onsite at the Tewksbury, MA and Andover, MA campuses.

\n

What You Will Do

\n

\n
• Work hands-on within multidisciplinary engineering teams to design, develop, and integrate test equipment for Raytheon products.
\n
• Create production test stations, interface test adapters (ITAs), harnesses, and supporting test hardware.
\n
• Produce technical drawings, schematics, and circuit analyses that guide test system development.
\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the design, development, and integration lifecycle — both independently and as part of a team.
\n

Qualifications You Must Have

\n

\n
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
\n
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting, analysis, and/or testing.
\n
• Experience with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and/or power meters.
\n

Qualifications We Prefer

\n

\n
• Degree in Electrical Engineering 
\n
• Experience developing test equipment for factory or military depot environments.
\n
• Experience designing, testing, and/or integrating digital, mixed-signal, analog, power, and/or RF systems.
\n
• Familiarity with common hardware interfaces and data protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RS 422)
\n
• Experience with COTS test instruments and automated test development.
\n
• Experience using integrated development environments and debugging tools.
\n
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage workload independently.
\n
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
\n
• Root-cause analysis, or system troubleshooting.
\n

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.\n
