About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean of Mathematics, Natural & Social Sciences to provide strategic and transformational leadership for the division. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, student-first academic leader with a strong commitment to student success, access, and academic excellence. Responsibilities include guiding the division's strategic direction, overseeing a large faculty and adjunct body, and championing student success and career pathways. The Dean will also be instrumental in shaping the academic future of the region, building a partnership-first culture, and aligning the program portfolio with curriculum, assessment, and workforce needs. The role demands a leader who can drive the division's emergence from a former structure, strengthen resources, and ensure operational excellence. Applicants for the Dean position at the company should have a minimum of a Master’s degree, with a PhD and experience in higher education leadership preferred. A degree in one of the division's disciplines, experience leading a STEM-based department, and teaching experience are also desirable. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of leadership success, be adept at fostering innovation, and be capable of leading a diverse and inclusive academic community. The role is pivotal in advancing the company's mission and vision, and the Dean will be expected to work closely with senior academic and administrative leaders to achieve the institution's strategic goals.
