About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean of Health and Human Services to provide strategic and transformational leadership for the division. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, student-first academic leader with a strong commitment to student success, access, and academic excellence. Responsibilities include guiding the division's strategic direction, overseeing a large faculty and adjunct staff, championing student success and career pathways, and leading the division through a significant period of transition. The Dean will also be instrumental in advancing the company's mission, vision, and values, and shaping the academic future of the region. A minimum of a Master’s degree and at least five years of progressive leadership experience are required, with a preference for a doctoral degree, experience in higher education leadership, and a background in one of the division’s disciplines. The ideal candidate for the Dean of Health and Human Services at the company will have a proven track record in academic leadership, a strong background in health and human services, and a deep understanding of the needs of a diverse student body. The role demands a leader who can build a partnership-first culture, grow the program portfolio, and strengthen resources and operational excellence. Experience in leading a health and human services-based department, as well as public-sector experience, is highly valued. The Dean will be at the forefront of a significant partnership with a major healthcare provider, aimed at doubling the number of graduates in high-demand healthcare fields. The position is pivotal in a rapidly growing region with a diverse metropolitan community, and the successful candidate will play a key role in the economic and educational landscape of the area.
