Business Manager

Overview Incumbent will create and maintain a safe, positive learning environment to ensure the holistic development of each student and staff member through cultural, social, spiritual, physical and academic experience. Incumbent will support the Bureau of Indian Education’s mission, which is to provide high quality education opportunities from early childhood through life while considering a tribe’s need for cultural and economic well-being. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or education administration or closely related field and one (1) year experience; or Master's degree in business or education administration. The education requirement for Business Manager requires a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in education or business administration or closely related field which includes or is supplemented by a minimum of 24 semester hours from the following business disciplines: accounting business/school finance law contracts economics operations management business management and policy management information systems marketing organization management Related experience for a Business Manager is professional or journeyman level experience in business administration, accounting, management or other related business fields or experience doing comparable work at the next lower level of difficulty. Physical Requirements Good vision and ability to read without strain; printed material the size of typewritten characters is required; glasses permitted. Ability to hear conversational voice, with or without hearing aid required. Must have mental and emotional stability.
