Overview of the role: Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assist with the month-end closeprocess, prepare journal entries and reconciliations Assist with monthly variance analysisand investigate variances Support operational accountingfunctions such as AR, AP, Payroll, Finance on an as-needed basis Assist with technicalaccounting guidance research for accounting issues such as RevenueRecognition & Lease Accounting or as needed Assist with variousinventory-related accounting tasks such as reconciliation, cost/valuation,analyzing slow-moving/excess & obsolete inventory Assist with variousdeliverables to support the preparation of the financial statements and/orrequests for information from all business functions Assist with any internal andexternal audits, tax preparation support, and quarterly reviews Assist with any other ad hocanalysis, reports, or analytics as needed 5 years of accounting experience Proficiency in the U.S.Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial AccountingServices Board (FASB) rules and standards Experience with major ERPsystems and proficiency in excel Certified Public Accountant(CPA) certification (preferred) Experience with external auditwith a Big 4 or large Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Firm (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr HubOrgs
