HVAC Service Manager (Hybrid)

$155,000 base salary, plus incentive bonuses tied to department and company performance.

Atlantic Mechanical is a 100% commercially focused HVACR contractor serving eastern Massachusetts. We have grown from $2 million to more than $20 million in annual revenue with no residential work, no distractions, and no intention of slowing down. This seat runs our commercial HVAC service department.

This is a leadership role, not a field role. You will not be assigned service calls. You will run a department.

What you will own. The commercial HVAC service technician group, service delivery and dispatch priorities, client relationships, and departmental financial performance. You report directly to the COO and sit at the leadership table.

What your team will work on. Rooftop units, split systems, VRF and VRV, air cooled and water cooled chillers, cooling towers, boilers and hydronic systems, makeup air and ventilation, and light commercial refrigeration including reach in units, ice machines, and small walk in boxes, across office, retail, restaurant, institutional, and light industrial accounts. Your job is to make sure they do it correctly, profitably, and safely, and to be the person they call when they are stuck.

•      Leadership on call is a five person rotation, so you carry the phone roughly one week in five

What you need.

•      EPA Section 608 certification

•      8 or more years in commercial HVAC, with at least 4 years managing a technician group

•      Demonstrated ownership of a department or branch P&L

•      Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting background

•      Comfort running a department on a modern service platform. We run BuildOps.
