Medical ReceptionistThe Glen Endoscopy Center is a specialty surgery center specifically designed to perform endoscopy procedures (EGD and Colonoscopy) which do not require an overnight stay. We strive to give our patients the highest quality outpatient care in a modern state-of-the-art medical facility.We are currently searching for a full time experienced Medical Receptionist to work Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. This position reports directly to the Center Director. No holidays, weekends or call. We are a friendly group and consider ourselves a family. We are looking for a team player who can multi task in a fast paced environment and represent our facility with a smile with every person who walks through our door.RequirementsEducation Required: High School diploma or GEDPrevious Experience One year of medical receptionist experience preferred, during which the qualities of competence in operational processes, leadership and administrative abilities have been demonstrated. Must be self-directed in improving and acquiring the abilities and skills necessary to enhance job performance. Experience in the customer service field. Experience with scanning confidential data. Ability to relate to people, in person and on the telephone, in a pleasant, business-like manner. Detail oriented. Familiar with computer and scanner operations.Seeking an experienced, detail-oriented individual with strong computer and communication skills to join our gastroenterology ambulatory surgery center.
