Job Title: Custody Operations Specialist Job Description

This position is a 1st Shift role, operating from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. As a Custody Operations Specialist, you will perform various tasks in the vault, including pulling and filing loan documents, ensuring their correct placement, and maintaining quality control. The role requires extensive walking and occasional climbing of step stools to manage files effectively. When a file is missing, you will utilize computer systems to research and locate it, using clues such as where the file was last seen and related files that may have been processed together.

Responsibilities

• Perform filing and quality control of loan documents in the vault.
• Verify that loan files are in correct locations.
• Conduct searches for missing files using computer systems and physical inspection.
• Walk and stand for approximately 80% of the workday.
• Utilize analytical skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies in file locations.

Essential Skills

• Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications.
• Capability to multitask effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a production-based background.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable being on feet all day.

Work Environment

The role is based in a quiet but large vault, essentially an office warehouse filled with files arranged by customer and loan number. The dress code is business casual with an emphasis on comfortable footwear, and tennis shoes are acceptable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
