Custody Operations Specialist

This position involves working in a vault to perform various functions such as pulling files, putting them away, and quality control. The role requires verifying loan files are filed correctly, searching for missing files, and researching their locations using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions in the vault including pulling files and putting them away.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure files are accurately filed.
• Verify loan files are filed in correct locations.
• Search for missing files by checking shelves, desks, and carts.
• Research in computer systems to find misplaced files using clues.
• Work on feet 80% of the time and climb step stools as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications.
• Capability to multitask effectively.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and be on feet all day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Production based experience.
• Experience in document custody, filing, and research.
• Comfortable using search tools to find information.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a large, quiet vault that functions as an office warehouse full of files arranged by customer and loan number. The dress code is business casual, and comfortable shoes, including tennis shoes, are acceptable. The position requires being on your feet most of the day during regular hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
