Job Description

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise individual therapy strategies to assist them in achieving their functional aspirations.
• Deliver Effective Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based methods to enhance the patients' mobility, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, integrative care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach therapy techniques to patients and their families to promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that each individual remains on the path to recovery.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
