• 12x 13 hr shifts per month -- mostly days with some nights
• 11 - 18 patients per day in the CVICU
• CVICU setting -- onsite position
• ECMO specialists on unit -- no ECMO management required
• Cases include LVAD and open valve repair
• No advanced procedures required
