IT Director - NetSuite & Enterprise Applications Birmingham, AL (Onsite) Salary: Up to $150,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits + Relo Assistance Our client, a rapidly growing organization headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the company's enterprise technology strategy, with a strong emphasis on NetSuite ERP , software development, and business systems. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically hands-on leader who has evolved into IT leadership while maintaining a strong engineering mindset. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with the ability to dive into technical challenges, optimize business processes, and build scalable technology solutions that support continued growth. What You'll Be Doing Own the overall IT strategy, roadmap, and enterprise technology initiatives. Lead the administration, optimization, and long-term development of the company's NetSuite ERP environment. Partner with executive leadership and department heads to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology. Oversee system integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise applications. Lead software development initiatives, including custom applications, APIs, automation, and integrations. Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve scalability, security, and business performance. Manage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and vendor relationships. Build and mentor a high-performing IT team while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Establish IT governance, documentation, and best practices across the organization. Manage technology budgets, project timelines, and strategic priorities. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems , or a related technical discipline. 8+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibilities. Deep expertise administering and optimizing NetSuite ERP in a complex business environment. Strong software engineering background with experience developing applications, integrations, or enterprise software solutions. Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, and modern development frameworks. Proven ability to lead enterprise technology projects from planning through execution. Strong understanding of cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture. Experience managing vendors, consultants, and cross-functional technology initiatives. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Preferred Experience NetSuite certifications are highly desirable. Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site operations. Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, REST/SOAP APIs, or integration platforms. Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, SQL databases, and modern DevOps practices. Experience leading ERP implementations, upgrades, or digital transformation initiatives. Why This Opportunity?
