Shop Manager

What are we looking for? Responsibilities Recruiting and hiring new employees Providing training and helping technicians develop skills Ensuring compliance with regulations affecting service operations Creating and managing employee schedules Conducting performance reviews for employees Keeping up to date with manufacturer warranties and policies Checking the progress of repairs and service Greeting customers and maintaining relationships Handling complaints Maintaining work records and files Supervising and training staff Overseeing work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations Enforcing safety regulations and protocols Meeting with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies Implementing strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency Ensuring all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed Performing administrative tasks such as updating and filing equipment orders, stock receipts, and staff schedules Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license At least ten years' experience as a shop foreman or similar Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word A great understanding of work optimization techniques Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership abilities Good time management and problem‑solving skills A willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed Must be able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Benefits (after 60 days) Health, Dental, and Vision coverage (company pays 50%) 401(k) retirement plan after one year of employment Paid time off Job Details Job Type: Full‑time Salary: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: One location #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlantic Heating & Cooling Service
