PositionPhysician - Hospital Medicine LocationBeaufort Memorial Hospital Full-Time/Part-TimeFull-Time ShiftNights Exempt/Non-ExemptExempt DescriptionBeaufort Memorial, a not-for-profit hospital, is excited to bring its Hospital Department services in-house and is seeking additional board-certified Hospital Medicine Physicians to join our dedicated team. The hospitalist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure effective communication, and facilitate smooth transitions of care within the hospital and upon discharge.About the opportunity:Join a team of board-certified Hospital Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice ProvidersShift lengths: 12-hour shifts 7a-7p, 7p-7aAverage patients load is 18-20Diverse case mix24/7 in-house support from Anesthesia, Pediatric Hospitalists and HospitalistsManage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and complex medical cases.Trama surgery available on-callAccess to a wide range of on-call specialties: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery and Vascular SurgeryIntensivist coverage in-house from 7A-7P; Hospitalists cover ICU overnight with intensivist on callThe ED will respond to hospital airways or codesPosition RequirementsMust be familiar with a wide range of ailments, diseases, disorders and injuries. Develops treatment plans individualized to the patient's needs. Implements treatment plans, writes orders for medications, treatments, tests, and provides patient care.
