We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable person to work directly alongside our physician in delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will provide critical clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations, efficient workflow, and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Physician Support: Work alongside the physician during clinical hours to assist with patient intake, care coordination, and daily workflow.
• Clinical Documentation: Assist the physician with drafting and finalizing clinical notes, documenting patient encounters, and updating medical histories.
• Records & Diagnostic Management: Retrieve, organize, and track patient medical reports, lab results, imaging, and external health records prior to patient visits.
• Medication & Order Management: Process routine prescription refill requests and submit authorizations under physician supervision.
• Administrative Clinical Tasks: Handle outgoing and incoming faxes, transmit medical records, and communicate treatment plans or lab follow-ups to patients as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Computer Proficiency: Strong general computer skills and comfortable navigating electronic health record software.
• EMR Expertise: Prior experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a strong plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Work Arrangement: 100% in-person position.
