We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing communities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Property Management principles, including budgeting, financial statement analysis, and resident relations. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing a team and ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of the properties, including project based section 8 and low-income housing tax credit programs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of property operations, including property inspections and maintenance.
• Manage and maintain accurate financial statements, including budgeting and expense control.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations related to affordable housing, including low-income housing tax credit and project based section 8 programs.
• Supervise and train on-site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Handle resident relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage rent collections and collections processes, ensuring timely payments.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and resident satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Property Management principles.
• General knowledge of affordable housing programs, including low-income housing tax credit and project based section 8.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and analyze financial statements.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Experience with RealPage OneSite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with affordable housing communities.
• Familiarity with property recertification processes.
• 3-5 years of experience in property management.
