Program Coordinator (Corporate Event Logistics)

Akkodis is seeking a Program Coordinator (Corporate Event Logistics) for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate should have experience with at least 2+ years in IT. Previous experience in program/project coordination, cross-functional stakeholder support, or event logistics within a large-scale corporate environment. Rate Range: $40/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Description: The Program Coordinator supports the planning and execution of leadership events and governance forums within the Enterprise Technology (ET) organization, partnering with primary project leads to coordinate cross-functional activities, manage documentation, and help keep team initiatives on track. Key Responsibilities 1. Program Coordination & Support - Logistical Assistance: Support the execution of large-scale events, including Town Halls and All Hands meetings. This includes assisting with venue logistics, audio-visual coordination, and attendee invitation lists. - On-Site Support: Serve as a point of contact during live events to assist with room setup and on-site logistics to ensure a seamless experience for leaders and participants. - Administrative Partnership: Coordinate with other departments to align schedules and ensure consistent event planning across the enterprise. - Agenda Development: Assist in the creation and management of meeting agendas for recurring governance forums and leadership sessions. 2. Operational Coordination - Process Support: Support timeline and milestone tracking across project workstreams, flagging schedule risks as needed; partner with the broader team to keep deliverables within agreed scope and timeline. - Gap Coverage: Provide flexible administrative support during peak event cycles or when organizational needs require it. Experience Required: Associate Exp: 2+ years in IT - Previous experience in program/project coordination, cross-functional stakeholder support, or event logistics within a large-scale corporate environment. - Experience coordinating across multiple business functions or departments to support shared goals and timelines. – Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Copilot) and familiarity with task/milestone tracking tools, e.g., Planner, SharePoint, to support program coordination. - Communication: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on professional coordination. - Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track multiple moving parts, deliverables, and timelines across concurrent initiatives. Experience Preferred: Experience with Copilot and/or Open Code AI tools.
