ABOUT THE TEAM \n

\nThe Anduril Maritime team is a dedicated group of driven professionals passionate about advancing subsea technology and delivering innovative capabilities to meet our customers' needs. We are seeking an Operational Support Engineer to join the Dive-XL Field Operations team. In this role, you will lead all facets of operational support for the Dive-XL mission - owning logistics coordination, sparing strategy, equipment readiness, and site preparedness to enable operations of our cutting-edge system in some of the most demanding and dynamic conditions.\n
WHAT YOU'LL DO \n
\n
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: \n
\n

\n
• Own end-to-end logistics coordination for field operations; ensure timely procurement, delivery, and availability of all gear and support equipment across multiple assets.
\n
• Drive sparing strategy and maintain critical spare inventory levels to minimize operational downtime.
\n
• Coordinate with supply chain managers on procurement priorities, lead times, and inventory management.
\n
• Lead Field Ops consumables tracking, forecasting, and replenishment.
\n
• Manage RMA processes for defective equipment in coordination with field team and quality.
\n

\n
Equipment Readiness & Maintenance: \n
\n

\n
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs and heavy-duty equipment in the field.
\n
• Own equipment readiness standards across all operational assets; establish and enforce preventive maintenance schedules.
\n
• Conduct monthly inventories of equipment spread across multiple assets and ensure accountability.
\n
• Maintain an organized warehouse with properly stored materials, equipment, and inventory.
\n

Site Surveys & Deployment: \n
\n

\n
• Lead site surveys for new and existing operational locations; identify logistical requirements and constraints.
\n
• Coordinate test site mobilization and demobilization efforts, including over-the-ground transport and craning operations.
\n
• Develop and standardize deployment documents, checklists, and strategic planning materials.
\n
• Travel and lead customer-facing operations approximately 50% of the time.
\n

Operational Leadership: \n
\n

\n
• Serve as the primary interface for logistics and sparing within the field ops team.
\n
• Identify and drive process improvements across operational support functions.
\n
• Adapt to emerging needs and take ownership of new projects associated with operational support.
\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \n
\n

\n
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in logistics, equipment maintenance, or operational support
\n
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating operational logistics in a field environment
\n
• Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing complex inventories and equipment across distributed assets
\n
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Oracle (or equivalent ERP systems)
\n
• Excellent communication and ability to interface with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams
\n
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
\n
• Ability to deploy up to 50% of the time
\n
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
\n

• Hoisting Engineer License

• HMT 252 Shipping Excepted Lithium Batteries

• Knowledge of offshore HSE policies and best practices

• Experience supporting autonomous vehicle or marine operations

• Prior military logistics or expeditionary support experience

• 100T Captains License
\n

\n$112,000-$149,000 USD\n
\n
\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
