What You'll Do

As an Accounts Receivable Charge Off Specialist, you'll play a key role in helping members resolve charged-off checking and savings account balances while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Review and analyze account information across multiple systems

✅ Investigate reasons for non-payment and identify appropriate recovery solutions

✅ Work directly with members, joint owners, and co-signers to establish repayment plans

✅ Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on commitments

✅ Provide financial guidance and support to help members meet repayment obligations

✅ Communicate professionally through phone calls, letters, and internal correspondence

✅ Maintain accurate documentation and account records

✅ Update account alerts, payment statuses, and recovery system information

✅ Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

✔ 2-3+ years of customer service, collections, or call center experience

✔ Previous banking, credit union, or financial services experience preferred

✔ Strong Microsoft Excel skills

✔ Accurate data entry and typing skills

✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

✔ Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

✔ Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and customer service abilities

✔ Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
