9 international branch campuses in United States OVERVIEW Virginia Tech is seeking an International Admissions Recruiter to support international recruitment, relationship-building, and undergraduate application review for prospective international students. The role includes representing the university at international recruitment events, developing partnerships with educational institutions and advisors, and supporting international admissions processes. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Undergraduate Admissions and works closely with Enrollment Management leadership. The role is remote and requires regular travel to campuses in Blacksburg and Alexandria, virginia, along with significant international travel. Key responsibilities Support international recruitment efforts for prospective international students Build relationships with schools, universities, and educational advisors Represent Virginia Tech at international recruitment events abroad Review undergraduate applications and evaluate international credentials Contribute to holistic undergraduate admission review processes Develop strategic and innovative international recruitment plans Work with Enrollment Management leadership on recruitment initiatives Support efforts to increase international student enrollment Travel frequently to Virginia Tech campuses in virginia and internationally Requirements Experience with international recruitment and relationship-building Ability to evaluate international credentials for undergraduate admissions Ability to represent the university in international settings Capacity to develop strategic recruitment plans Willingness to travel internationally and to Virginia Tech campuses Ability to work collaboratively with admissions and Enrollment Management leadership WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position plays an important role in expanding access for international students and strengthening Virginia Tech's global presence.
